Shoogeley?

It appears that the word "shoogle", as in "to shoogle" and "shoogeley", is not a word in the English language. Being a Scot I feel bereft because this word, to my mind, is one of the finest words in the language that I use (which I've always thought of as English, but with some particularly good stuff added). Being dyslexic makes the search for the real shoogle even more difficult. Have I spelt it right? Is it in a Scots dictionary?

However, I am sure some of you will agree that this blip epitomises the word shoogle, however it ought to be spelt.

Autumn has arrived in Canterbury. Nice early morning light to shoogle by.
