Mercadillo at Plaza Castilla

I went to mass at the church near Plaza Castilla again, but this time a bit later. I again did not see very many Filipinos. This is the church that supposedly has a big Filipino population. Perhaps I'm going the wrong time. One interesting thing that happened this at church was that I was asked to read. I don't know exactly what, but it could have been one of the readings. I love to read aloud, but in front of a whole congregation in a foreign language is a bit intimidating. I'm flattered the lady asked me though.

Afterwards, I went to walked down the avenida and passed through the open air market or swap meet. It was pretty neat.
