The Chieftain

This shot is of me (the wee DY and Big Papa who is the Big DY). We both shared the same initials until I went and got married!! He always signed my cards from the Big DY. Some of you may be aware that Big Papa was taken to hospital last week as he was in a lot of pain. He had perked up after his initial arrival at hospital however Mum and Dad visited him on Sunday and he was quite upset and looked really frail. Everyone has been worried. Today Mum and I went to see him while Papa was out with wee Johnny. For 94 he was on good form today and Mum said he was a 100% better than on Sunday.

As soon as we arrived BP and Janey started their regular banter with each other, making both of them smile! He said that the Doctor said that he was well enough to go home but Janey wasn't so sure so she went in search of the Nurse to ask the question. The Nurse said that yes as far as his infection/current health issue is concerned then yes they are happy with the improvement but until a "care" package is arranged then he won't be able to go back to his home.

I asked him if he was bored and he said no it was alright as there is "always something going on!"

The girls all went to the Dance Craze holiday camp today and loved it. Johnny and Papa went to St Mirren's ground and managed to get a look round. He even got to hold the League Cup.....at one point he had it sat on his head!!! Dad got some great shots while they were there.

We are off to Nottingham in the morning.
