Rustic Shelf At Last Woohoo

Today husband is making me a new shelf. His speciality are rustic shelves. I'm so excited. Three years in the waiting for this.

It's quite nerve wracking for me when husband announces the screws are not long enough to hold the brackets in. Nnnoooooooooooo nothing must stop the shelf building. Pppleeeaaaasee I can't wait for my beautiful shelf. A trip to B and Q soon fixes the snag. I excitedly wax the shelf husband has lightly sanded while he makes sure the brackets are happy in their new home.

Ta daaaaa happy new rustic shelf. I will now spend the next two hours choosing what items to put on the shelf and cleaning the kitchen while husband makes a new prop for the breakfast bar. He's on a roll today.
