Anniversary Sunset

It has been a beautiful day here today with hardly a cloud in the sky and quite warm too, finishing off with yet another gorgeous sunset. Tomorrow will not be so nice unfortunately. Today is my hubby and I's 19th wedding anniversary, I was a child bride you know!!! ;-)). Unbelievable how time has passed so quickly. The last couple of years have been the toughest of times but by God's grace we are closer and our love is stronger than ever before. We haven't been able to celebrate today with a meal out as we usually do but hope to rectify that on the weekend. We instead enjoyed the lovely weather and went out for a lovely bike ride in the sunshine, with me riding my new toy!! I picked up my first ever out and out road bike yesterday, a Trek Lexa S 2014 and it is very nice indeed. The riding position, gears and brakes took a little getting used to as will the SPD shoes, when I get them in a few days. But I'm sure it will all be second nature in a week or so. Definitely easier to ride up hills etc than on my previous hybrid bike, a Trek 7.3 FX so hopefully will be able to keep up with hubby more now! Fingers crossed anyway. Happy Tuesday everyone :-)
