We were glued to the TV all evening as BBC4 was showing the 3 programmes in this series - absolutely excellent with footage of old blues singers, Leadbelly, Paul Robeson, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez... interspersed with information on Macarthyism, the civil rights movement and social and political comment.
