Barbed wire birds

These sparrows look like they are breaking out of prison but actually they are sitting on top of a fence that borders my morning walking trail, separating the trail from a fertilizer plant.

My chores today are to unload the chicken feed from the truck, then feed the chickens and turkeys, take Riley for a walk, then spend some time in the flowerbeds, trimming perennials for the winter. Mr. M is working day shift today and when he gets home he wants us to unload a wagon full of wood that we split yesterday. Then hopefully a glass of wine before bed. Whew!
