My kinda hotel

This week's trip is to Geneva for meetings with the bigwigs. Trying a different hotel recommended by a colleague after last time's ok room / poor food / bloody expensive experience. And it's ace. Quirky but funky styling, colour change mood lighting and a very comfortable chaise longue and huge tv. Nice to be somewhere a bit different. But weirdly I have a black loo - just seems odd! But hey it works like a white one.

Meetings went well - got more on Thursday but so far so good.

The fella is doing an awesome job on the home front - last night he was working late digging out some tiles and debris near the kitchen so the new floor could go in and not be damp (previous laminate was just laid on top causing a wet area that caused the ant infestation). And tonight he's working late again repairing a pipe the floor man thinks may be leaking. I am beyond impressed and incredibly grateful. And I probably shouldn't say this as a 21st century woman but I kinda like having a man knowing about manly stuff DIY. I am a lucky woman.
