Morningside on a dreicht day

Z1 referred to a dreicht day. Dreicht means a combination of dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable weather, at least 4 of these characteristics. It was all of these in Morningside today, hence the mono shot. This view gives the impression of the 1950s as well. The cars are not immediately obviously 21st century.

Shopping was unsuccessful too. Unable to obtain baby blanket, nursery rhyme book or trousers (from Wilkies) for Doreen.

Weather brightened up in the evening just before sunset. We were around seeing Alba again. She was on form again but did settle over tea. A very pleasant tea with good company.
