Seasons in the sun
Now home after a lovely day with my Mum and Dad in North Kessock. The day started with a thick fog with the sun trying to creep over the top and turned into a beautiful sunny day.So warm we could sit outside on the decking of the Fishermans cottage with views over the firth.
It's a lovely place that was formerly a net drying house. There's a nice garden and a friendly cat that spent some of the afternoon with us.
We went for a walk along a path under the Kessock Bridge. Great Autumn colours reflecting in the water. There were lots of birds flying over our heads and singing in the trees. Four herons that had been perching in a large Scotch pine flew off noisily as if complaining at our presence.
After lunch in the White cottage we met up with CawdorChronicle. As always we had a good natter and it was lovely to see them again.
The taxi picked me up as I caught the sun setting over the Beauly Firth.
What a view :)
