Early morning sunshine

I love these misty mornings in the valley. The Hereford herd had wandered into the paddock below the house, always a joy to see them there. It's not long before they will have to come in for the winter. The grass has lost most of its nutritional value at this time of year and the cows are being fed drystuff to supplement their diet as they are still feeding their calves. As soon as the ground gets really wet and cold they will want to come in without any prompting.
