Through the looking glass at Bowes Museum

We spent most of today at Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle. It was part-pilgrimage for me. We used to visit the museum on family outings and I was keen to see the silver swan again. We had a great time both inside the museum and outside in the grounds, where we collected a few conkers.

My blip is of the large mirror that hangs from the first floor landing.
