Just another day on the job!

And it was another huge day! Still short staffed and still all running round madly with not enough hours in the day. Kifani, our 13 year old cheetah was finally anaesthetised today so the specialist eye surgeon Ziggy (pictured with the funny eye contraption!) could properly examine an ongoing eye problem. Kifani is not the most cooperative of patients and certainly not a lady when she is awake! She hisses and swipes and lunges, and definitely lets you know she's not a happy cat! But the anaesthetic went smoothly (she is a risky patient due to her age and some kidney problems) and she was back in her den to recover by lunch time. I'm really not supposed to be publishing this photo ... So just pretend you don't know where I work! I just don't know how to fit in crazy work days and blip at the moment!
