Still waiting for the early cloud to clear, but I couldn't resist snapping the latest edition to our beach.

After all the work last winter to the promenade in Grau d'Agde, it's time to start again. This winter will see the river mouth cleared of the sand which builds up over time. Rather than cart it away, they pump it through big pipes and spread it over the beach wherever it is needed. Waste not, want not.

If you look closely at the photo, you can just about make out the long black pipes at the waters edge. If you can't see it, don't worry, I am sure there will others in the near future.
