Drop off

There is one big day to get us out of here. So we dump a pulk ready for the last push. We decide on a circular route, out round the hill, back along the lake, in order to decide which is best. As we turn to return we see huge tracks, and with binoculars we spot a large party of pulkers, heading for the hut.

We catch them (as we no longer have a pulk to pull, and they have large ones - which make us a great ski track) and negotiate for hut spaces.
