Waiting ....

I'm sitting in Wellington airport waiting for the call.

I've used the iPad to take this blip, then had a fiddle in Filterstorm. I've not used this editing app before so had a wee familiarise while there is time. Seems to have quite a number of options. But for ease and quickness I can't go past Snapseed while on holiday.

Two important factors in the image are

1. "Travel Refreshed" (in red)..there are a mountain of travellers still waiting for flights because of the storms yesterday, many have slept overnight in the airport buildings and are still waiting for flights.

2. "Air NZ tail" (in teal)...always a good sign when in an airport seeing the Koru emblem on our own airline; our wee 19 seater is yet to arrive, and we have just heard there is another delay (not 24 hours like yesterday). They are doing there very best to catch up on arrivals and departures, almost like Dubia Airport ha ha.

It is still raining in Wellington, but have had a text from a friend in Timaru saying a lovely day there. Yeah, we are heading to sunny South Canterbury.
