Two pennies

Today on the way into to work I found three pence. The 2 pence wasn't too bad but the poor old penny had seen better days. It's always good luck to find abandoned money so I usually pick it up.

Today's blip - after yet another council meeting - is the rather worse for wear penny next to a shiny newish one. Obviously they are different designs but even so it's an interesting comparison. I did clean the damaged one first with some water and a bit of copper glow first - otherwise it was unrecognisable.
