Before the Storm

A storm was forecast for today, with heavy rain, rather than snow, on the mountains. I took this photo this morning so that I could compare with how it will look after the storm. Although a little sunlight was coming from the east it was overcast high overhead. Wispy grey clouds hung low around the tops.
