Good Old Cross Country Weather

This morning we woke up to very gloomy weather and it seemed relentless. The rain just did not want to give in and I knew that the dip in temperature, brisk winds and dull, damp weather could only mean one thing: Cross Country season! However, within an hour of the Primary Schools race beginning at Port Soif, the gloomy skies cleared to reveal a beautiful blue and fluffy white; what a transformation! It was a very good turn out of young runners and they had great fun trying out this headland route. It was still rather windy that brought with it an icy North-wind feel, but as usual, our children just got on with it with smiley faces. Don't know how they do it!
