Ullswater Day 1 Residential

Arrived safely to the Outwood Bound Centre in Ullswater.

Today my group have been on a jog and dip (I declined the opportunity to go into the lake at this point!) This evening we have been tunneling. Well to be more precise, I sat outside the tunnels and played the ukulele while the children entered the smelly dark and enclosed spaces of the underground caverns. I was impressed by their confidence and teamwork - it's not something I would have enjoyed even as a child.

Tomorrow we head out for a three mile canoe trip. This time I am getting involved (as long as they can find a life jacket big enough!)
