Decor to Die For

A day spent mostly either waiting to get in a car, sitting in a car, or getting out of a car to listen to people talk - some moving stories and most of us were in tears at one point - BUT does not make interesting photos. Especially frustrating because we drove through some beautiful countryside as we went to Varazdin, Ivanec, and Novi Marof. Stunning autumn colours on the hills, white-steepled churches, vineyards, sparkling streams.

So, am posting a photo of our room here at the apartment block we are all in -the hall I'm in is deep yellow with blue stars; the landing is lime green with red flowers; the kitchen fire-engine red with bright yellow stripes and the theme is Muhammed Ali, complete with a huge blackboard in the shape of a punching bag. The other two flats I've seen have a chessboard theme, and a musical theme, complete with lampshades in the shape of musical scales. Never seen anything quite like it.
