The village of Zulu (four generations)

This is the village community, where you see in the middle back the new young chief, standing beside his bright and fit grandfather who was born in 1934. On the right Mary stands beside his grandmother who is 70.
In places like this AIDS has wiped out a generation.
We were here to discuss supporting their plans for pumps, preschools, model gardens and conservation farming.
They have heard that we support villages and they want a piece of the action!!
The meeting was most positive and a representative group will come to Lusangazi farm on Wednesday.
From there they can decide who to send for training in the various elements of horticulture. Some may stay for a week.
