Hiya Biya

Spent the most awesome day on the beach! Hiya Biya!
A festival that promotes a Bahraini tradition. It takes place on the eve of Eid Al Adha. Children lined the coast in their traditional outfits and had loads of fun singing traditional songs while throwing their Hiya Biya baskets into the sea. It is based on the concept of sacrifice.
I took over 800 photies. There was just so much to choose from!!
