Surveying his kingdom

Nero has been quite happy with me only working part time hours the last couple of weeks, meaning his lazy lie ins (and mine!) have not been disrupted for early morning walkies. But from tomorrow, I'll be leaving at 7.30 for work, so this might be one of the last morning walks we get in daylight for a few months. Apart from a couple of weeks when the clocks go back.

It was a bit misty this morning, and the hound was checking out if there was anything worth barking at/chasing across the football pitch, from a conveniently placed rock.
