Lighthouse sunset

This is Foreland Point lighthouse, near Lynmouth in North Devon, where we were staying over the weekend for a writing retreat. It is perched on the edge of the cliff - you have to go down 59 steps to get to it from the road. It is extremely solidly built and you feel quite safe when you're inside. I think it might one day become the setting for an unsafe story though!
