Kirkcudbright: the artists' town

We went on holiday to Dumfries & Galloway. Stayed in Scotland's artists town where the Glasgow Boys (and wimmin, frankly) did their thing.

We rather liked the one that talked about the work of Jessie M King whose death in 1949, apparently, was recorded as 'the wife of artist EA Taylor', rather than being given a death in her very own right.
