The View From My Recliner

I have been sitting in my recliner for the better part of the past of two weeks and this has been my view. It has actually been very therapeutic. The weather has been wonderful with the skies a brilliant blue. Some days, like today, some lovely puffy clouds on the skyline.

The added bonus now besides seeing the mountains in the distance is the hummingbird feeder in my line of sight. Zippy, my pet hummingbird, is very entertaining, as tiny birds go, and continues to chase poor little interlopers off.

(This little bugger even buzzed my head when I went out this morning and touched the feeder to make sure the ports weren't plugged.)

I have just been sitting like a slug. Doing the minimum every day. Then sitting some more. Staring out at the view from my recliner. I feel content but a severe loss of interest in most of the things that used to bring me most of the pleasure in my life.

It's time to re-prioritize. Might be news by Tuesday.
