Memories for sale

Hanging on the wall in an Antique shop in Ampthill. A fascinating place to browse around, but certain items such as these skates and trophies remind you of lives past/forgotten. Is this what is to become of our cherished possessions when we no longer have a need for them?

Entertained Rachel and Ross last night. Spinach, sun dried tomato and feta filo pastry pie which was delicious. Ross is in the final of the bake off at work and has made a Guinness and chocolate cake in the shape of a pint of Guinness. Tasting and judging is today. He made a small practice cake as well and brought that round last night. Very nice but very rich. I hope he wins. He has put a ridiculous amount of effort into it.
