Inside and Outside

Today was the last day of the Whatcom Artist Studio Tour. Cynthia and I only visited one studio -- Shirley Erickson's.

Shirley is a multi-talented artist who creates unique beautiful works using glass, metal, and miscellaneous cast-off objects that most people would regard as junk. She's also recently expanded her repertoire to included painting.

I saw dozens of sculptures worthy of a blip. Lacking the decisiveness to choose just one, I decided to show you this interplay of shapes, shadows and light in the corner of a storage tent.
