Acorn Art

I woke up this morning, and took Uncle Steve's big (29 inch tires) black bike out for a ride. I was on the black bike...looking for black squirrels. I found 3, but they were not good posers.

That's when I started picking up acorns, and arranging them into "art." Me, my camera, my close-up filters, and the nuts. A new definition for the word nutty.

Speaking of Uncle Steve...we took an interesting trip with him this morning.

I'm not a deer hunter, so I don't really get it...but we took bags of apples, and bags of corn into the woods...hoping to lure the deer in for the upcoming hunting season. I know. What's next...maybe pipe in some nice deer music (Doe...a deer...a female deer) for them? Maybe make them some nice deer sweaters?

I put quite a few pictures on my FLICKR PAGE, but we crammed a lot of stuff into the 3 days. Some lighthouses, a Coast Guard ice-breaker, some campfire shots, and a little Autumn color.

Some pretty stuff...BUT BE FOREWARNED. The last shot is an acorn shot that is rated PG-13, or perhaps even R. The little acorns set the mind a-wandering...(and that's not always a good thing.) I apologize in advance.

It's now 11:15 at night. Hope to catch up on the morrow.

I back-blipped a picture of my lovely Lisa taken yesterday. Our campground has no Wi-Fi...not even any cell-phone reception. HAVE A LOOK.
