Cuddly Toy

Okay, not quite!

But I'm finding that a lot of insects and spiders look rather fuzzy and furry close up.

This is (I think!) a Light brown apple moth, which I believe is a pest in New Zealand.

I've taken loads of macro shots of crawly things today - including another jumping spider, with beautiful green eyes, just like the one I blipped a month ago. In fact, it could even be the same one. It was looking straight at me, and I swear it looked right into my soul!

I know a lot of you find such subjects icky, but I think it's fascinating. I'm seeing the world in a whole new light!
