First and Last!

Tonight was my first back shift since I started my new job and with it I had the dubious great honour of driving the last service bus into Galashiels Bus Station as it stands just now. Tonight we shut the gates and the services all leave from the street outside. This is temporary until Summer 2015 when we will have a new "Transport Interchange" in place to combine the bus station with the train platform

This shot is not actually the decker that I was driving at the end of my shift but one I had a bit earlier when there was still some daylight and I had two minutes while sitting in Melrose.
