El Capitan Mountain

We drove the Copper Canyon logging road again. We passed through the Island Timberlands gate at 8:30 this morning. We drove until a wash out in the road. Then we walked about three kilometers towards Jump Lake. Distance to the lake was seven and a half kilometers. But the descent was about three hundreds meters. That meant walking up hill on the return trip. We decided to return to our car instead.

We did enjoy the rocky mountain peaks.
