Favourite Places

Here we are at one of our favourite places in Pressmennan Wood. The children have been coming here all their lives and they still love to search for the little houses of the Glingbobs and Tootflits in the trunks of the trees.

This spot is Malcolm's favourite, where we used to rest on a log and look out over the lake. They've built this chair now and the remains of the log are still there but "much smaller" reckons Malcolm. Or maybe he's a bit bigger?

We cycled up and recorded the ride on Strava via mobile phone, something I usually do for my bigger rides. They did really well, the lads self-powered and the little ones helping me on the 3-person-tandem. Home for a big meal waiting for us in the oven, just what we needed.
