River Ness flood alleviation works (phase 2) are well under way. Lots of digging things up going on. Think they're putting in new road drainage. Some fancy walls are going to replace the railings, and hopefully the need for sandbags and pumps...

Haircut at lunchtime. Fairly hefty one. They were dead quiet for a change - no queue. Had expected it to be busy, as it's the school holidays. Then again, perhaps lunchtime was too early in the day for most of those customers...
