STRATFORD DAY 1.....

.....after an early morning walk and then a very hearty breakfast, we all went into Stratford to do the open top bus tour....the sun came out within minutes of getting on!
This is Anne Hathaway's cottage....(William Shakespeare's wife). It was a fascinating place.
Then it was a cuppa and a cake time while we waited for the bus. Next stop Mary Arden's farm (the home of William's Mum).....another great historic place....ooooo I'm feeling very cultured!

Before we returned to the hotel we had a quick shopping trip....to buy some jewellery as I had left mine at home! (good trick eh?)...then in the evening it was time to put on our glad rags for a lovely evening function.....good food, few glasses of wine and lots of dancing!
