Melrose Apple Day

Drove down to Melrose for the apple day at the National Trust gardens. I went years ago and arrived at the end of the day and got a wheelbarrow full for jam. It was pretty busy but still got two big bag fulls at £3 each one eating. The choice of varieties was amazing. I had a lovely time walking in amongst the trees taking photos their branches were straining with the weight of fruit. Drove back via Moffat.
