Wanlockhead to Sanquhar

Brilliant day took my kids from Wanlockhead to Sanquhar along the Southern Upland Way , with the help of the Outdoor Ed staff. The weather stayed fine with just a hint of mist on the hill top to add to the sense of isolation and height. No moans or groans. Euan who hates school said it was the best school day ever. I have never seen him smile so much. This is the view looking back to Cogshead and Wanlockhead.
