One of the arguments for the impossibility of time travel is that, if anyone managed to invent it at some point in the future, then we would know, because they would have come back to visit us. But maybe we overestimate our own appeal.

Or, maybe, they wouldn't let on that they were from the future. Maybe they would just pretend to be from your time.

Who knows, but just let me say that you will be going on a trip and meeting a tall, dark stranger. And a politician will soon make an ass of itself.

By the way, I clearly meant our time back there. Obviously.
