München Marathon

.... today in 'my street'.... .... when we took a walk this afternoon we came across the last few kilometres of the München Marathon - about 19000 athletes were participating, more than 7400 were running the whole 42,195 km, the rest were running either 10 km or the half marathon....

...... I don't think their numbers were pure embellishments...... (and I hear scribbler and mollymay64 shout 'kookaburra' .... But so be it... ;-)). )
