noise maker

I usually hear the jays before I can see them. Quite a squawky bunch. And flighty, too - always on the move!
But this one Scrub Jay was busy digging up good things to eat, so was neither noisy nor on the move.
And what a pleasure it was to watch it, to be around it.
Note to self: less squawk and bustle = more pleasant to be around.
