Swirls

Operation More Brambles was successful today - another kilo and a half of swag obtained. Nice walk too, with the promised bad weather not surfacing while we were out, and me happy that on a whim I'd grabbed the dark filter for the lens figuring I might get some water shots (and the lack of wildlife, just a few Dippers, meant the 500mm was a dead weight in the bag).

Had a coffee with my mum in Waverley as she swapped trains heading north from Newcastle; took a spin to the shops via Niddrie in the vain hope of seeing a ned on my nicked bike; and... that's about it.
