Emus taking a drink at the trough.

Matty and I drove Mum & Dad over to Winton this morning to catch the bus to Chinchilla, they are going to be away for 18 DAYS. And yes that means that I get to work all those extra lovely hours at work. Stop whinging you might say and get over it, that's what I tell myself :-) You can look forward to a few post office blips over the next couple of weeks.

Anyway this shot was taken out of the windscreen of our car going at 120kms an hour on our way between Richmond and Winton. Did I mention that this trip only took us 2 hours instead of the 2½ hours that we anticipated due to someone's low flying skills. That might have something to do with Bathurst being on this weekend and wanting to get home to see the end of the race. And no Matty wouldn't stop and go back so I could get a clearer shot.

Anyway I was pretty pleased with the way this shot turned out considering it was taken out the windscreen of the car going at 120km an hour. If you look hard you can see 2 emus drinking at the trough in the foreground.
