Fritillary

We took a short walk over to the community gardens, where individuals rent small plots from the city. It's always fun to see the different ways that people work their little bit of land. Gardens are super-geometric and organized, or completely random and overgrown; they feature vegetables, or only flowers. Some have a bench to rest on, others are devoted to crops. Some have raised beds, most are just on the ground. The butterflies love it all.
