Rotten tomato

Today I said goodbye to my biggest and bestest tomato that I have ever grown. I had been eyeing up this beauty all through the season. It grew and grew and grew, and took so long to ripen. I was so excited when it began to turn red. It was sure to feature in a Blip. However, this was not the Blip that I had planned - all to do with a slug attack. They are the inside and it began to rot until I was left with this monster. Into the brown bin it went today. Not sure that I will bother growing any next year. It is always so disappointing :-(
