Deserted village

We passed through Pitve, a deserted village on Hvar Island on today's walk. It's the same story as in many parts of Europe - there's an exodus from rural parts. There was one undeserted place - a restaurant, with a fantastic view over the valley. However, it was as well that we had eaten our picnic, as they had a prior booking.
