Sunrise After All

I woke early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to make the most of it by getting out with the camera. By the time I drove to the shore the clear starry sky was beginning to cloud over and as a result the sunrise wasn't as interesting as I had hoped it would be. However, I stuck around just enjoying the sound of the waves breaking and watching the light develop and I'm glad I did as eventually I was rewarded with a beautiful scene out over the estuary. Turned out, this was easily the best part of the day as the cloud cover returned again for the rest of the day.
