Amusing

The Forum Challenge today is Amusing. Well I haven't really had an amusing sort of day.

I had to get up early as I was expecting a parcel being delivered by Courier. I had a tracking number so I checked online that it was in the pipeline. Waited in all morning - nothing. Checked on line again at about 1pm in case the status had been updated. It had. It said " Unable to deliver. Incorrect postcode ". I checked on my account with the company who were sending the parcel and the correct postcode was shown there. So I shot off an e mail to the company to ask them what was happening. Last I heard they were " investigating ". I am not amused.

I still wanted to go out - my mission this week was to go out every day - so I got the bus to Gateshead. Had a 15 min wait at the bus stop and when the bus came the driver apologised saying that the traffic around The Metrocentre, where he had come from, was manic. Obviously I was not amused by the wait in the cold and rain. In Gateshead I went to Tesco. I had in mind going across the river to Newcastle afterwards but by then the rain was getting heavier and the skies were getting darker. So I just came home.

Have spent the evening watching TV. Very amusing watching that Hairy Biker on Strictly. I have recorded Dad's Army and will watch it later. I will surely find it amusing.

I popped out of the room earlier and left my drink of cola on the computer desk - almost full. I was only gone a minute or two but when I came back I saw that Tino had spilled the drink. Not amused. He would have been trying to get the straw - he loves straws. He was sitting nearby with a very sheepish look on his face. I saw him before I saw what he had done and I guessed he had done something wrong. He always gives the game away - no poker face.

However he is the subject of my blip. I caught sight of him sitting like this on his bed near the radiator. I was amused.
