Capstan

A beautiful day today so I put my boots on and off to Fanagmore I went.I went down to the White house and had a look around and found this old capstan in the garden. I think it has been left over when the house was a fishing station. The fishing boats came from Buckie and unloaded here. The fishermen must have stayed at the white house as I found them on an old census form.
