London Town!
On the list of things to do before we move to Edinburgh was go on the London eye and take CJ to London.
So today we decided to do both!
CJ was in his element as we took the train to Paddington, then it was off to a Kiwi cafe for breakfast and coffee. Then we headed to Hamleys toy store and just as we walked in the door, poor little CJ fell asleep - so while he was napping we wondered round the store and then headed down to Piccadilly Circus and onto Westminster.
CJ was fascinated with all the people, the cars, the lights and the numerous other "giant" city sounds. We let him walk around and he didn't know where to head first!
Lunch was Dim Sim with CJ enjoying be feed by chopsticks.
Then it was a walk down the Thames to the London eye - with a short stop for a quick merry-go-round ride.
Going on the eye was a very memorable event - poor CJ was a little ensure as the pod started to climb away from the water, but it wasn't long before his curiosity won over his initial fear and he was leaning the the rails and tearing round the Pod (much the the annoyance and/or amusement of all the other tourists).
Then it was time to head home - with all three of us exhausted after a very busy day!
